I guess that questions sounds kind of silly, huh?
But anyways...
what I mean is: I opened Illustrator today and when I select an object w/ the selection tool, it shows the bounding box, but when I put the cursor on the corner it just gives me a teenytiny square. No sizing arrows, so rotation arrows. All I can do with the selection tool is just grab it and move it around.
Anyone have a clue as to why its doing this and how I can make it act normal again?

Re: why can't I rotate?
Sat, June 30, 2007 - 6:20 PMAre you using the selection tool (the black arrow) or the direct selection tool (the white arrow)? The direct selection tool would only allow you to select individual points (unless you drag it over the whole object or hold down the shift key and click on more than one vector point). That would explain the tieeny tiny box and why you wouldn't be able to rotate anything.

Re: why can't I rotate?
Sat, June 30, 2007 - 6:54 PMIts the regular old black selection arrow!
What's up?? I feel like I accidentally changed some setting or something. I can use the Free Transform tool to do what I need to do, but it's a pain compared to the normal selection tool's ability to allow you to do that instantly.
