Judgement
After a creative drought, I finally finished a new illustration today. It was based upon some reference I shot earlier this year with Heartbreaker. In the original picture we had her dressed up as an angel with wings. In this illustration, I decided to leave the wings out and slit the sides of the gown up so you can see some leg (making it a bit sexier). Otherwise, the pose and the expression is the same.
I titled it “judgment” since that seems to be the general impression I get from this pose. I like working with models because of what they can bring to the table. Heartbreaker is a good muse. The whole angel thing was something Jeff (our prop guy) threw out and Heartbreaker ran with. We got a bunch of good shots but I went with his one because of the power of her stare. She seems to really be looking through you.
